  • Sarah Wilson

    Sarah Wilson

    We are thrilled to have the endorsement of the amazing Sarah Wilson!

    Sarah is an elite arm wrestler with a multitude of titles to her name, including 8-time Canadian national champion arm wrestler, 10-time provincial champion, and the current Arnold Classic champion!

    Sarah has been arm wrestling since she was 9 years old, following in the footsteps of her father, Earl Wilson, an arm wrestling legend, who achieved 11 world championships and 34 national titles.

    Much like Earl, Sarah has unreal strength and as such she continues to rack up more titles every year! We are truly delighted to have her endorsement

  • Hannah Woodhouse

    Hannah Woodhouse

    Hannah Woodhouse is an endurance runner who has been running competitively since high school. She attended Georgian Bay Secondary School while running for the Meaford Coyotes track club, then went on to the University of Guelph to run for the varsity track and cross-country teams while completing her studies. Hannah has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Nutrition and is currently finishing up her PhD in Epidemiology at the University of Guelph.

    Hannah’s main event is cross-country and she was part of the national team in 2014 and 2019 competing at the Pan American and World Cross Country championships. While not on the trails, Hannah loves to race on the roads and has personal bests of 1:14:16 in the 1/2 marathon, 33:51 in the 10km, and 16:05 in the 5km. She is passionate about encouraging youth to get involved in athletics and loves sharing her running experiences with others to inspire them to have big goals!

  • Avery Knight

    Avery Knight is a swimmer who grew up in Collingwood and began swimming with the Clippers Swim Club at age 8. She fell in love with the sport at a young age and has been competing since then, recently at the national level.

    Avery competed in the 50m butterfly at the Canadian Championships with a time of 29.16 this past August.

    This year she joined The Barrie Trojans to be part of a bigger team and hopes to make it to the Olympic Trials in May !

  • Sydney Pattison

    Syndey Pattison

    High-level track and cross-country runner Sydney Pattison.

    She is a coach at the University of Windsor, and has three national medals in university track!
    Coming off a big win at the 1500m track Ontario provincials this summer, she is looking to make the national team within the next year for the 1500m.

    Last year's cross-country season had her making Team Ontario, so Sydney is looking to make Team Canada for cross-country as her next milestone.

    Sydney has some seriously quick PB's, with a blistering 2:07.22 in the 800m, and 4:16.42 in the 1500m, both set on the outdoor track this past summer.

  • Morgan Kenney

    Morgan Kenney

    Meet Morgan Kenney, a 13-year-old resident of Elmvale. With a recent introduction to volleyball last year, Morgan's journey in the sport began. Joining the school volleyball team unveiled a newfound passion. Swiftly ascending the team's ranks, Morgan was honored with the "heart and hustle" award. Their team's dedication led to a remarkable achievement as they secured the very first junior girls banner in their gym during the counties. Throughout the summer, Morgan dedicated time to honing their skills, engaging in beach volleyball. This year marks a significant step forward as Morgan has been recruited by the Pioneers Volleyball Club's rep team, assuming the role of an outside hitter.

  • Alex Bonwick

    Alex Bonwick debuted in 2011 in the U.S. in the sport of MMA going 2-1 (1 tko, 1 submission) before deciding to pursue becoming a competitive natural bodybuilder. Alex debuted in 2018 with the IDFA *International Drug-Free Athletics* bodybuilding federation taking 2nd in his first show.

    From there, he would go onto compete 5 more times between 2018 and 2022 before earning his pro card with the IDFA at the IDFA Battle for the Belts contest in July of that year, solidifying himself as a Professional Natural Bodybuilder.

    He has earned a bronze at the Natural Universe contest and also took home Men's People's choice award for that event. He looks forward to representing Thrive Protein on an international stage and can't wait to bring a couple new medals and titles to the Thrive Protein team.

  • Ronin Riddell

    Ronin Riddell

    Ronin Riddell is a cycling enthusiast who is currently racing for the Collingwood Collective Race Team. He competes in 3 disciplines including mountain biking, gravel and cyclocross. He’s currently in his 4th year of racing which has taken him all over Ontario completing in the Ontario cup circuit and he competed in his first Canadian championship this past summer in Kentville, Nova Scotia.

    When “Ro” isn’t on his bike he enjoys training at Chalks and working out at PowerWatts. He’s currently in Grade 11 at GBCS where he is also a member of the Basketball, Volleyball and X/C running team.

    Ronin is interested in personal training or to pursue a career in firefighting when he finishes high school.

  • Haley Beckett

    Haley Beckett

    Haley Beckett is 18 years old and grew up in Collingwood, playing multiple sports within the community. Her main focus is hockey and box lacrosse.

    She started playing hockey for the Collingwood Blackhawks. Haley currently plays U22 women’s elite hockey for the Barrie Jr. Sharks. She recently committed to furthering her education and will be playing ACHA D1 women’s hockey for Maryville University in Missouri.

    "I am passionate about sports and hope that I can be a role model for all young girls who are trying to achieve their dreams!"

  • Britney Holmberg

    She's a 36 year old tactical athlete from Collingwood working as a full-time firefighter and Acting Captain in Brampton, ON.

    After 10 years of competitive CrossFit, and 5 years of Firefighter Combat Challenge, she has shifted the focus back to the outdoors and extreme sports. Current achievements are 2023 Exterra World Championships for Triathlon in Italy, and some local podiums for racing mountain bikes, gravel bikes and even a fat bike.

    Future goals include competing in board sports such as surfing, SUP racing and snowboarding.

    Her lifelong goal is to maintain a level of fitness required for her job and so that no goal or sport is too far out of reach!

  • Preslie B

    Preslie is a 13 year old athlete from our region. A first place finish in her cross-country run set her up for the season, and she is attending county's on Oct 18. Preslie is also a rep hockey player with a dream of playing in the PWHL and representing her country in women’s hockey.

    With her whole future athletic and academic goals already set, she is an admirable example to other girls and her community.

    She actively participates in any school sport that is offered and encourages other girls her age to also participate. She is slowly becoming a role model for younger girls to participate in sports.

  • Ryan McQuarrie

    Ryan is a powerlifter from Collingwood, Ontario.

    Ryan’s a seriously strong guy, at 165 lbs bodyweight with a 500 lb deadlift and 450 lb squat!

    Ryan is a personal trainer and strength coach, with a degree in kinesiology.

    Ryan’s entering his first meet this year and we’re pumped to be working together!
